New Luchashirt Update

The new luchashirt design is finished and preorders are being accepted.  The shirts will cost a mere $10 this time thanks to a generous screenprint professional, and the profits from the sale of the shirts will be donated to the Hernando Skates skatepark project spearheaded by the one and only Edward Pidgeon.  Show your support for concrete (and advertise a locally based 'zine/blog).  You can get in touch with me by posting a comment on this blog or by emailing luchamag@yahoo.com.  Pre-orders will be available until July 15th.

New Luchashirt design in the works

Lindsey Rowland is working hard on the next luchashirt.  Profits from the first run of this shirt will benefit the Hernando Skates efforts to get a skatepark in Hernando, MS.  Thank you Lindsey for your hard work, time and talent in making these shirts happen.

Distance Update

We've had record breaking temperatures in Tennessee for a while.  Yesterday was 109 degrees in Nashville.  It is simply too hot and too dangerous to go on 10+ mile rides in this weather.  So, I'm sticking with bowl riding and a little cruise/dance rides until the temperatures drop a little bit.  I just wanted to let my distance skate readers know why there is no training happening now.

For now, the bowl is my home.
